Imagine your child becoming
the Queen or the King of reading and writing
|
Accumulating spelling errors, not understanding anything when reading a text, feeling useless in class, crying when you don't get a good grade despite hours of revision!
I have experienced this and this is also what my students experience! It is thanks to my experience as a learner in difficulty and thanks to all my students met since my beginnings as a tutor, that I decided to become a orthopédagogue/remedial teacher! I accompany learners from the first year of primary school until the seventh year to develop learning strategies. |
Who am I?

As a child, I preferred to memorize the lyrics of the Lion King movie rather than the multiplication tables. The ‘‘dictée’’ horrified me! However, I wanted to become a teacher.
So quite quickly, I was helping my friends with their homework. I saw the usefulness and their pride in understanding. During my university studies in ‘‘special education’’, it was there that I learned how to ‘‘crack the spelling code’’ in French! More than 10 years ago, I chose to work with learners with learning difficulties or with a learning disability in reading and writing (dyslexia, dysorthographia). So today, I show children the learning strategies to succeed. |
